ABOUT BIOREMEDIATION

Bioremediation refers to the use of living organisms to clean up contaminated soil, water and air. Bioremediation offers an attractive alternative to other remediation processes such as thermal desorption and chemical oxidation, in terms of its relatively low cost and low environmental impact.
There are many forms of bioremediation including landfarming, phytoremediation (using plants),
slurry bioreactors and composting.
